I have a large array of equipment, however listed below is what I've typically used for the photos featured here.

One of the first CMOS digital cameras capable of shooting night photorgraphy wiht little to no noise

Lenses

16mm Zenitar F2.8 fisheye lens (35mm)

A cheap entry level 35mm fisheye lense

20mm Nikkor AF-D F2.8 lens (35mm)

20mm's is the widest a 35mm camera lense can go before straight lines start to bend. This lens is very sharp.

10-22mm Canon EFS Ultra Wide Angle Zoom (Digital)

Extremely wide angle zoom lens. Excellent for distoring photos.

Flash

Vivitar 285

Huge flash. Very cheap. I use this external flash for light painting.

Quantium Bantam Battery and Vivtar modual

This huge battery pack is rechargable and allows me to use my flash 100+ times in one night.

Theater Gels

These are transparent sheets of film that insert in front of my flash to create colors in my photos.

Tripod

Bogen Manfroto 2500BN with grip action ball head.

Other

It's important to have a quick and easy access belly pack for all your gear, shutter release cords for long exposures, a stop watch, and note pad for writing down exposure times.
